The Kenyan Peasants League (KPL) is currently testing the efficacy of two different organic pesticides in three clusters in Migori and Baringo County. The tests that are being supported by Evan Cornish Foundation and implemented in partnership with War on Want (WoW) is part of the “Transition to Agroecology for Food Sovereignty and Climate Justice project” that also has components of advocacy against importation of banned chemical pesticides from UK like paraquat occasioned by the recently signed UK-Kenya Free Trade Area agreement.
